Co-owner Joey is our Master automotive technician who manages all the mechanical operations. Since he was a young boy, Joey’s passion for cars has only grown stronger. In his own words, he explains:
"This is a sickness! This is all I know. I have a passion for cars, I love cars. It’s my business, it’s my life. I do it five days a week and then two days on the weekend. I think it’s cool to help people. When you fix it and experience the joy in their smile they want to come back, spread the word, etc. You touch people. You’re building a relationship with them seven days a week. That’s my why!"
Co-owner Corey runs the Customer Service aspect of the business. With his diverse experience in various service industries like HVAC, tool distribution, sales, and management, he was born for this role. In his own words, Corey explains:
"My history with cars started in my early 20s when I purchased my 67 Chevelle . This led to a passion for drag racing. I spent the next 20 years helping people with their muscle cars and their drag race cars. I graduated with a business degree in 2003 expecting to jump right into business. At first all I could find were some remedial, less than desirable sales jobs. Later on I settled in a career in service sales that provided some great experiences I rely on today. Joey and started talking about automotive shop ownership several years back. I realized shop ownership could lead down many paths for growth. We pulled together our combined traits to form a formidable partnership."
Technician Elijah Elijah was the first person we hired. We were looking for a helper or part time person. We knew that to grow we needed to bring in help. The way he greeted us, carried himself, etc., we knew he was the one for us. He fit the bill perfectly. He is an apprentice mechanic learning things quickly and is very hands on. He’s Great! He has great values and work ethic that stem from a strong family upbringing. Eli is very attentive, takes directions well, and is very respectful. Eli is young, excited, and eager to learn! He goes to school half the day at Pickens and then joins our team in the afternoon to further his knowledge and experience. He brings dedication to the community and a drive for furthered learning that adds a lot of value to the Centennial community.
Technician & Service Advisor Andrew is our key man. He brings a lot of experience to the table and sometimes coaches us. His superpower is knowing every aspect of running a shop from almost every position, manager, tech, lube guy, service writer, etc. Being a service advisor for years and a skilled mechanic, he brings it all to the table. He understands what exceptional service means at Elite Imports Auto Repair, from the starting point when customers walk in the door to the finish line when they pick up their repaired vehicles. He’s worked at several successful shops and picked up valuable input along the way. Andrew is an excellent leader and currently serves as a strong mentor to Eli.
